They were archers who could use either the right or left hand, both to sling stones and shoot arrows from a bow.  They were Saul’s relatives  from Benjamin:


Ishmaiah the Gibeonite, a warrior among the Thirty and a leader over the Thirty; Jeremiah, Jahaziel, Johanan, Jozabad the Gederathite;


They assembled in the Valley of Beracah  on the fourth day, for there they blessed the Lord. Therefore, that place is still called the Valley of Beracah today.


When the messengers came to Gibeah,  Saul’s home town, and told the terms to the people, all wept aloud.
