A pastor was attacked by a crowd of LGBT activists while baptizing on a Vancouver beach as part of his tour of Canada. The case occurred on August 31, but the images were shared on social media this week.

Pastor is attacked by a group of LGBT activists during baptisms in Canada.

Pastor David Lynn, founder of the Christ’s Forgiveness ministry, was surrounded by an angry crowd protesting his presence in the city. While baptizing at False Creek Cove, activists yelled at him and threw objects at him.

“I’m here today to baptize people that accept my message,” Lynn told Global News. “I’m not here to talk to the gay community, I’m not here to target the gay community, I’m not even here to talk to them.”

Police officers were on site to ensure the safety of everyone present.
Later, on social media, David Lynn spoke of the harassment of protesters against his message saying that the LGBT community tends to have a violent attitude and he had a lot video evidence to prove it. Lynn said on September 9.

At the time, the mayor of Vancouver commented on the events and criticized the pastor’s tour. “I find it just despicable,” Kennedy Stewart said at an unrelated press conference. “I think coming in from outside the city, spreading hate, hurting people, is just not on,” he added.
