A pastor in Zambia was the center of multiple news stories when he was found dead after being buried trying to imitate the resurrection of Jesus.
James Sakara, 22, a pastor of the Zion Church of the Christian congregation in Zambia, died trying to imitate the resurrection of Christ in front of his parishioners, whom he asked to bury him alive.
According to reports, Pastor Sakara, following what is written about Jesus and his resurrection, told his congregation that he would “come back to life just like Christ” while he was being buried alive.
Of course, his congregation denied to support their pastor on this idea, so only three men accepted the challenge.
With a shallow grave, Sakara entered it with his hands tied and was buried alive.
72 hours later the same congregation saw how the desire to want to resurrect after having been underground for so long did not come true.
Local media say that in the midst of “various spiritual exercises” the congregation tried to resuscitate him, without success.

After the news of this act was known, the local authorities filed charges against the three men who helped bury the pastor; one of them has already been arrested and the other two are escapees.
