A miracle has been evident in the life of a baby boy born in a Boston hospital, leaving relatives grateful to God and doctors happy.
Abel was born on October 28 when he was only 22 weeks old when he was delivered by his mother, Shana Alexander.
But after fighting for his life for 6 months, he is finally released to fully reunite with his family in a normal way.
The mother of the little boy telling the facts at the time of the delivery said: “I woke up intubated. I didn’t know if the baby made it. I didn’t know if it was a boy or girl,” Shana said.
Being so small, weighing one pound and eight ounces, there was no good human hope for the baby’s survival, it was the time for a miracle. But thanks to God, the little boy’s family, and the good care of the Beth Israel’s and Children’s teams for nearly seven months, the baby got courage and continued to amaze everyone with his strong will to live.
He had a complete recovery and this Sunday, little Abel is going home to Wilmington to meet his parents and 3 brothers.

From all the experience lived during this situation, the mother of the miracle baby affirms that she has come closer to God and that she has an attitude of gratitude for many things, also for her life, which was also in danger.
Shana says, “It’s brought me so much closer to God. My eyes are opened. I’m very thankful for so much more things. I could have died too that day.”
