Christian in China preaches to the judge during trial: “The Kingdom is near, you need to repent”

A Christian in China preached to the judge in his case as the judge debated sentencing the believer; What has attracted attention is the audacity of the man to speak of Christ in front of the authorities who want to force him to deny his faith.

Christian in China preaches to the judge during trial: “The Kingdom is near, you need to repent”.

An Yankui, a preacher of the Zion Reformed Church, was wrongfully arrested after he left China on a fully legal visa to spend a week in Malaysia; the government accused him of having crossed the border illegally.

The preacher very courageously asked the judge who was evaluating his case to “repent of persecuting the church in China”; the case dating from 2020 to this day is imposing a series of punishments when all his papers were in order.

2020: Yankui was arrested for leaving the country “illegally” for Malaysia for just one week; his passport and visa were legally correct.

2021: The police arrested him on November 21 on the charge of “suspicion of illegal border crossing”.

2022: on November 3, he was found guilty, for which he was sentenced to one year in prison and fined 5,000 yuan.

Yankui compared his situation with that of other religious people, who have crossed the border illegally and have not been convicted.
