Best-selling author of NY Times delivers a powerful response to: “Why would a loving God send people to hell?”

Bill Wiese, a successful author according to the New York Times, answered the question: “Why would a loving God send people to hell?” His response was truly compelling for those who hold such ideas about God.

Best-selling author of NY Times delivers a powerful response to: “Why would a loving God send people to hell?”

The author of 23 Minutes in Hell promptly responded to that question. However, instead of feeling discouraged, Bill has a prepared response.

“Well, He doesn’t send anyone to hell,” he said to begin.

“You know, Revelation 21:8 says that every unbeliever will have their part in the lake of fire. So there’s a warning. He said that if you don’t believe, Jesus is the only way,” he added while sharing the quote from John 3:16.

He continued, saying, “Then Matthew 12:37 said, ‘Your own words will condemn you. Because you said, “I don’t believe in the way out”.’

“Now God loves everyone,” he said, recalling that Peter declared that God does not want anyone to perish but for all to come to repentance and be saved by a means through which anyone can come to heaven.

However, this situation does not apply to everyone. Bill explained that, because of the love God feels for his creation, he cannot impose upon them, and that is why he has granted people freedom of choice and decision.

“But because He loves, He cannot force anyone to do it. He tells you, ‘This is how you stay aside.’ But if you say, ‘I don’t believe it,’ well, you have free will not to believe it. But He warned you that, if you don’t, you will end up in the lake of fire. So, that is a fair warning,” he expressed.

Then, the legendary question of “what sends people to hell?” was also answered in a simple and straightforward manner.

“People have that freedom of choice, so He does not send them. People’s own words condemn them to hell,” he asserted.
