A false witness shall not be unpunished: and he that speaketh lies, shall perish.


I, I myself, will comfort you. Who art thou, that thou shouldst be afraid of a mortal man and of the son of man who shall wither away like grass?


For whom hast thou been solicitous and afraid, that thou hast lied and hast not been mindful of me, nor thought on me in thy heart? For I am silent and as one that seeth not: and thou hast forgotten me.


The aged and honourable, he is the head: and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail.


And I will come to you in judgment, and will be a speedy witness against sorcerers, and adulterers, and false swearers, and them that oppress the hireling in his wages; the widows, and the fatherless: and oppress the stranger, and have not feared me, saith the Lord of hosts.


And fear ye not them that kill the body, and are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him that can destroy both soul and body in hell.


And being afraid I went and hid thy talent in the earth: behold here thou hast that which is thine.


And Jesus saith to them: Why are you fearful, O ye of little faith? Then rising up he commanded the winds, and the sea, and there came a great calm.


And if thy foot scandalize thee, cut it off. It is better for thee to enter lame into life everlasting, than having two feet, to be cast into the hell of unquenchable fire:


You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and he stood not in the truth; because truth is not in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father thereof.


After these things are declared they shall add the rest, and shall speak to the people: What man is there that is fearful, and faint-hearted? Let him go, and return to his house, lest he make the hearts of his brethren to fear, as he himself is possessed with fear.


Whose coming is according to the working of Satan, in all power, and signs, and lying wonders,


Speaking lies in hypocrisy, and having their conscience seared,


They profess that they know God: but in their works they deny him; being abominable, and incredulous, and to every good work reprobate.


And to Jesus the mediator of the new testament, and to the sprinkling of blood which speaketh better than that of Abel.


Marriage honourable in all, and the bed undefiled. For fornicators and adulterers God will judge.


Who is a liar, but he who denieth that Jesus is the Christ? This is Antichrist, who denieth the Father, and the Son.


Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer. And you know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in himself.


He that believeth in the Son of God, hath the testimony of God in himself. He that believeth not the Son, maketh him a liar: because he believeth not in the testimony which God hath testified of his Son.


He also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mingled with pure wine in the cup of his wrath, and shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the sight of the holy angels, and in the sight of the Lamb.


And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet, who wrought signs before him, wherewith he seduced them who received the character of the beast, and who adored his image. These two were cast alive into the pool of fire, burning with brimstone.


He, that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches: He that shall overcome, shall not be hurt by the second death.


I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them that are evil, and thou hast tried them, who say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:


There shall not enter into it any thing defiled, or that worketh abomination or maketh a lie, but they that are written in the book of life of the Lamb.


Without are dogs, and sorcerers, and unchaste, and murderers, and servers of idols, and every one that loveth and maketh a lie.


And thus I saw the horses in the vision: and they that sat on them, had breastplates of fire and of hyacinth and of brimstone, and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions: and from their mouths proceeded fire, and smoke, and brimstone.


Neither did they penance from their murders, nor from their sorceries, nor from their fornication, nor from their thefts.


Speak to the people, and proclaim in the hearing of all: Whosoever is fearful and timorous, let him return. So two and twenty thousand men went away from mount Galaad and returned home; and only ten thousand remained.
