Proverbs 15:25

For he hath fed the barren that beareth not: and to the widow he hath done no good.


Thy knowledge is become wonderful to me: it is high, and I cannot reach to it.


Who giveth to beasts their food: and to the young ravens that call upon him.


Unto the end, for Maeleth, understandings to David. The fool said in his heart: There is no God.


Shall not all the workers of iniquity know, who eat up my people as they eat bread?


Turn the wicked, and they shall not be: but the house of the just shall stand firm.


The house of the wicked shall be destroyed: but the tabernacles of the just shall flourish.


Evil thoughts are an abomination to the Lord: and pure words most beautiful shall be confirmed by him.


Touch not the bounds of little ones: and enter not into the field of the fatherless:


Learn to do well: seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge for the fatherless, defend the widow.


Because the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and highminded, and upon every one that is arrogant: and he shall be humbled.


They are grown gross and fat: and have most wickedly transgressed my words. They have not judged the cause of the widow, they have not managed the cause of the fatherless, they have not judged the judgement of the poor.


Thou shalt not take nor remove thy neighbour's landmark, which thy predecessors have set in thy possession, which the Lord thy God will give thee in the land that thou shalt receive to possess.


Religion clean and undefiled before God and the Father, is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their tribulation: and to keep one's self unspotted from this world.


In like manner, ye young men, be subject to the ancients. And do you all insinuate humility one to another, for God resisteth the proud, but to the humble he giveth grace.
