For the congregation of the hypocrite is barren: and fire shall devour their tabernacles, who love to take bribes.


These men are the tabernacles of the wicked, and this the place of him that knoweth not God.


For you say: Where is the house of the prince? And where are the dwelling-places of the wicked?


He shall lean upon his house, and it shall not stand. He shall prop it up, and it shall not rise.


They that hate thee shall be clothed with confusion: and the dwelling of the wicked shall not stand.


If thou wilt walk clean and upright: he will presently awake onto thee, and will make the dwelling of thy justice peaceable.


The wicked have wrought upon my back: they have lengthened their iniquity.


Lord, all my desire is before thee, and my groaning is not hidden from thee.


He that trusteth in his riches shall fall: but the just shall spring up as a green leaf.


Turn the wicked, and they shall not be: but the house of the just shall stand firm.


The Lord will destroy the house of the proud: and will strengthen the borders of the widow.


The just considereth seriously the house of the wicked, that he may withdraw the wicked from evil.


There is a treasure to be desired, and oil in the dwelling of the just: and the foolish man shall spend it.


Want is from the Lord in the house of the wicked: but the habitations of the just shall be blessed.


I will bring it forth, saith the Lord of hosts: and it shall come to the house of the thief, and to the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it, with the timber thereof, and the stones thereof.
