And the priests have the charge of the loaves of proposition, and of the sacrifice of fine flour, and of the unleavened cakes, and of the frying-pan, and of the roasting, and of every weight and measure.


And Mathathias a Levite, the firstborn of Sellum the Corite, was overseer of such things as were fried in the frying-pan.


But an earthen vessel, into which any of these shall fall, shall be defiled: and therefore is to be broken.


If he touch a vessel of earth, it shall be broken: but if a vessel of wood, if shall be washed with water.


If thy oblation be from the frying-pan, of flour tempered with oil, and without leaven:


And the priest that rightfully succeedeth his father shall offer it hot, for a most sweet odour to the Lord: and it shall be wholly burnt on the altar.


If the oblation be for thanksgiving, they shall offer loaves without leaven tempered with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and fine flour fried, and cakes tempered and mingled with oil.


And every sacrifice of flour that is baked in the oven, and whatsoever is dressed on the grid-iron, or in the frying-pan, shall be the priest's that offereth it:
