Go back, and tell Ezechias the captain of my people: Thus saith the Lord the God of David thy father: I have heard thy prayer, and I have seen thy tears: and, behold, I have healed thee. On the third day thou shalt go up to the temple of the Lord.


And when the king of Israel had read the letter, he rent his garments, and said: Am I God, to be able to kill and give life, that this man hath sent to me, to heal a man of his leprosy? Mark, and see how he seeketh occasions against me.


Thou thyself, O Lord alone, thou hast made heaven, and the heaven of heavens, and all the host thereof: the earth and all things that are in it: the seas and all that are therein. And thou givest life to all these things, and the host of heaven adoreth thee.


Although thou conceal these things in thy heart, yet I know that thou rememberest all things.


And shouldst know that I have done no wicked thing, whereas there is no man that can deliver out of thy hand.


For he woundeth, and cureth: he striketh, and his hands shall heal.


The just shall see and fear, and shall laugh at him, and say:


Thou knowest my reproach, and my confusion, and my shame.


Saying: If thou wilt hear the voice of the Lord thy God, and do what is right before him, and obey his commandments, and keep all his precepts, none of the evils that I laid upon Egypt will I bring upon thee: for I am the Lord thy healer.


And he said: Put back thy hand into thy bosom. He put it back, and brought it out again, and it was like the other flesh.


A time to kill, and a time to heal. A time to destroy, and a time to build.


And the Lord shall strike Egypt with a scourge, and shall heal it. And they shall return to the Lord: and he shall be pacified towards them and heal them.


And the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days: in the day when the Lord shall bind up the wound of his people and shall heal the stroke of their wound.


Who hath wrought and done these things, calling the generations from the beginning? I, the Lord. I am the first and the last.


You are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that you may know and believe me, and understand that I myself am. Before me there was no God formed: and after me there shall be none.


I have declared and have saved. I have made it heard, and there was no strange one among you. You are my witnesses, saith the Lord: and I am God.


And from the beginning I am the same: and there is none that can deliver out of my hand. I will work, and who shall turn it away?


For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens, God himself that formed the earth and made it, the very maker thereof, he did not create it in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is no other.


Be converted to me, and you shall be saved, all ye ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is no other.


I am the Lord, and there is none else: there is no God besides me. I girded thee: and thou hast not known me:


Even to your old age I am the same, and to your grey hairs I will carry you. I have made you, and I will bear: I will carry and will save.


Hearken to me, O Jacob, and thou, Israel, whom I call: I am he, I am the first, and I am the last.


Therefore prophesy, and say to them: Thus saith the Lord God: Behold I will open your graves, and will bring you out of your sepulchres, O my people: and will bring you into the land of Israel.


And he said to me: Son of man, dost thou think these bones shall live? And I answered: O Lord God, thou knowest.


For I will be like a lioness to Ephraim, and like a lion's whelp to the house of Juda: I, I will catch, and go: I will take away, and there is none that can rescue.


In their affliction they will rise early to me: Come, and let us return to the Lord:


And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many peoples as a lion among the beasts of the forests, and as a young lion among the docks of sheep: who when he shall go through and tread down, and take, there is none to deliver.


Therefore I said to you, that you shall die in your sins. For if you believe not that I am he, you shall die in your sin.


The Lord alone was his leader: and there was no strange god with him.


That thou mightest know that the Lord he is God: and there is no other besides him.


And thou shalt know that the Lord thy God, he is a strong and faithful God, keeping his covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments, unto a thousand generations:


And as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: but thou art the selfsame, and thy years shall not fail.


Saying: What thou seest, write in a book, and send to the seven churches which are in Asia, to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamus, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.


And to the angel of the church of Smyrna write: These things saith the First and the Last, who was dead, and is alive:


The Lord killeth and maketh alive: he bringeth down to hell and bringeth back again.
