And they took Absalom, and cast him into a great pit in the forest: and they laid an exceeding great heap of stones upon him. But all Israel fled to their own dwellings.


He that curseth his father, or mother, shall die the death.


The eye that mocketh at his father, and that despiseth the labour of his mother in bearing him, let the ravens of the brooks pick it out, and the young eagles eat it.


Thus shalt thou say to the children of Israel: If any man of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that dwell in Israel, give of his seed to the idol Moloch, dying let him die: the people of the land shall stone him.


A man, or woman, in whom there is a pythonical or divining spirit, dying let them die. They shall stone them. Their blood be upon them.


Saying: Bring forth the blasphemer without the camp: and let them that heard him put their hands upon his head: and let all the people stone him.


And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, dying let him die. All the multitude shall stone him, whether he be a native or a stranger. He that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, dying let him die.


And the priest shall pray for all the multitude of the children of Israel: and it shall be forgiven them, because they sinned ignorantly, offering notwithstanding a burnt-offering to the Lord for themselves and for their sin and their ignorance.


And the Lord said to Moses: Let that man die. Let all the multitude stone him without the camp.


And when they had brought him out, they stoned him: and he died as the Lord had commanded.


For them that are without, God will judge. Put away the evil one from among yourselves.


If in one of thy cities, which the Lord thy God shall give thee to dwell in, thou hear some say:


And that prophet or forger of dreams shall be slain: because he spoke to draw you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you from the house of bondage: to make thee go out of the way, which the Lord thy God commanded thee. And thou shalt take away the evil out of the midst of thee.


If thy brother the son of thy mother, or thy son, or daughter, or thy wife that is in thy bosom, or thy friend, whom thou lovest as thy own soul, would persuade thee secretly, saying: Let us go, and serve strange gods, which thou knowest not, nor thy fathers,


Thou shalt bring forth the man or the woman, who have committed that most wicked thing, to the gates of thy city, and they shall be stoned.


The hands of the witnesses shall be first upon him to kill him: and afterwards the hands of the rest of the people: That thou mayst take away the evil out of the midst of thee.


And shall say to them: This our son is rebellious and stubborn; he slighteth hearing our admonitions; he giveth himself to revelling, and to debauchery and banquetings.


They shall cast her out of the doors of her father's house: and the men of the city shall stone her to death, and she shall die: Because she hath done a wicked thing in Israel, to play the whore in her father's house: and thou shalt take away the evil out of the midst of thee.


Thou shalt bring them both out to the gate of that city, and they shall be stoned: the damsel, because she cried not out, being in the city: the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife. And thou shalt take away the evil from the midst of thee.
