Stand in the way, and gaze out, O habitation of Aroer! Question him who is fleeing, and say to him who has escaped: 'What has happened?'


Therefore, the sons of Gad built up Dibon, and Ataroth, and Aroer,


So, what should we say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?


And we possessed the land, at that time, from Aroer, which is above the bank of the torrent Arnon, as far as the middle of Mount Gilead. And I gave its cities to Ruben and Gad.
