Yet shall the righteous hold on his way, And he that hath clean hands shall wax stronger and stronger.


Who satisfieth thy desire with good things, So that thy youth is renewed like the eagle.


Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their master, As the eyes of a maid unto the hand of her mistress; So our eyes look unto Jehovah our God, Until he have mercy upon us.


In the day that I called thou answeredst me, Thou didst encourage me with strength in my soul.


Save, Jehovah: Let the King answer us when we call.


Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, For I wait for thee.


Yea, none that wait for thee shall be put to shame: They shall be put to shame that deal treacherously without cause.


Guide me in thy truth, and teach me; For thou art the God of my salvation; For thee do I wait all the day.


Wait for Jehovah, and keep his way, And he will exalt thee to inherit the land: When the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.


I waited patiently for Jehovah; And he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.


They go from strength to strength; Every one of them appeareth before God in Zion.

It is a good thing to give thanks unto Jehovah, And to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High;


They are planted in the house of Jehovah; They shall flourish in the courts of our God.


Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself.


The way of an eagle in the air; The way of a serpent upon a rock; The way of a ship in the midst of the sea; And the way of a man with a maiden.


Who is this that cometh up from the wilderness, Leaning upon her beloved? Under the apple-tree I awakened thee: There thy mother was in travail with thee, There was she in travail that brought thee forth.


And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is Jehovah; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.


For thus said the Lord Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel, In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength. And ye would not:


And therefore will Jehovah wait, that he may be gracious unto you; and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for Jehovah is a God of justice; blessed are all they that wait for him.


Keep silence before me, O islands; and let the peoples renew their strength: let them come near; then let them speak; let us come near together to judgment.


For from of old men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen a God besides thee, who worketh for him that waiteth for him.


And I will wait for Jehovah, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.


Moab is laid waste, and they are gone up into his cities, and his chosen young men are gone down to the slaughter, saith the King, whose name is Jehovah of hosts.


And I will strengthen them in Jehovah; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith Jehovah.


And he spake a parable unto them to the end that they ought always to pray, and not to faint;


But if we hope for that which we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.


Therefore seeing we have this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we faint not:


Wherefore we faint not; but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.


And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.


As an eagle that stirreth up her nest, That fluttereth over her young, He spread abroad his wings, he took them, He bare them on his pinions.


Thy bars shall be iron and brass; And as thy days, so shall thy strength be.


and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, who delivereth us from the wrath to come.


Therefore let us also, seeing we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,


For consider him that hath endured such gainsaying of sinners against himself, that ye wax not weary, fainting in your souls.


As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, and to go out and to come in.


And there were given to the woman the two wings of the great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness unto her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.


and thou hast patience and didst bear for my name’s sake, and hast not grown weary.


And the first creature was like a lion, and the second creature like a calf, and the third creature had a face as of a man, and the fourth creature was like a flying eagle.


And Samson called unto Jehovah, and said, O Lord Jehovah, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.
