The sinners in Sion are afraid, trembling hath seized upon the hypocrites. Which of you can dwell with devouring fire? Which of you shall dwell with everlasting burnings?
But if you will not yet for all this obey me: I will chastise you seven times more for your sins.
If you walk contrary to me, and will not hearken to me, I will bring seven times more plagues upon you for your sins.
I will also go against you with opposite fury: and I will chastise you with seven plagues for your sins,
Who can stand before the face of his indignation? and who shall resist in the fierceness of his anger? his indignation is poured out like fire: and the rocks are melted by him.
