And she said, Let Abishag the Shunammite be given to Adonijah thy brother to wife.

She said, Give Abishag the Shunammite to Adonijah your brother to be his wife.

And she said, Let Abishag the Shunammite be given to Adonijah thy brother to wife.

“Let Abishag from Shunem be married to your brother Adonijah,” she said.

And she said, "Let Abishag the Shunammite be given to Adonijah, your brother, as wife."

She said, “Let Abishag the Shunammite be given to Adonijah your brother as his wife.”

So they sought a beautiful young woman in all the coasts of Israel: and they found Abisag a Sunamitess, and brought her to the king.

And the damsel was exceeding beautiful; and she slept with the king, and served him: but the king did not know her.
