As a bird flying to other places, and a sparrow going here or there: so a curse uttered without cause shall come upon a man.
And they shall be as a doe fleeing away, and as a sheep: and there shall be none to gather them together. Every man shall turn to his own people, and every one shall flee to his own land.
Moab is confounded, because he is overthrown. Howl ye and cry: tell ye it in Amen, that Moab is wasted.
Woe to thee, Moab, thou hast perished, O people of Chamos: for thy sons, and thy daughters are taken captives.
Give a flower to Moab, for in its flower it shall go out: and the cities thereof shall be desolate and uninhabited.

From Aroer, which is upon the bank of the torrent Arnon, a town that is situate in a valley, as far as Galaad. There was not a village or city, that escaped our hands: the Lord our God delivered all unto us:
