So they sent her away, and her nurse, and Abraham's servant, and his company,


All the valiant men of them arose, and took the bodies of Saul and of his sons, and brought them to Jabes, and buried their bones under the oak that was in Jabes. And they fasted seven days.


And an angel of the Lord went up from Galgal to the place of weepers, and said: I made you go out of Egypt, and have brought you into the land for which I swore to your fathers. And I promised that I would not make void my covenant with you for ever:


And the name of that place was called, The place of weepers, or of tears: and there they offered sacrifices to the Lord.


And she sat under a palm-tree, which was called by her name, between Rama and Bethel in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for all judgment.


And when thou shalt depart from thence, and go farther on, and shalt come to the oak of Thabor, there shall meet thee three men going up to God to Bethel, one carrying three kids, and another three loaves of bread, and another carrying a bottle of wine.


And they took their bones and buried them in the wood of Jabes: and fasted seven days.
