Now these are the children of the province, that went out of the captivity, which Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon had carried away to Babylon, and who returned to Jerusalem and Juda every man to his city;
Therefore thus saith the Lord: Behold, I will deliver this city into the hands of the Chaldeans and into the hands of the king of Babylon, and they shall take it.
And Nabuzardan the general of the army carried away captive to Babylon the remnant of the people that remained in the city, and the fugitives that had gone over to him, and the rest of the people that remained.
And in the fifth month, the tenth day of the month, the same is the nineteenth year of Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon, came Nabuzardan the general of the army, who stood before the king of Babylon in Jerusalem.
