And Baasa the son of Ahias of the house of Issachar, conspired against him, and slew him in Gebbethon, which is a city of the Philistines: for Nadab and all Israel besieged Gebbethon.


And when he was king and sat upon his throne, he slew all the house of Baasa: and he left not one thereof to piss against a wall, and all his kinsfolks and friends.


In the seventh and twentieth year of Asa, king of Juda, Zambri reigned seven days in Thersa: Now the army was besieging Gebbethon, a city of the Philistines.


And his servant Zambri, who was captain of half the horsemen, rebelled against him. Now Ela was drinking in Thersa: and drunk in the house of Arsa the governor of Thersa.


And Sellum the son of Jabes conspired against him; and struck him publicly; and killed him; and reigned in his place.


At Jehu coming in at the gate, and said: Can there be peace for Zambri, that hath killed his master?
