Titus 3:5

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit,

And His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation.

He has helped His servant Israel, in remembrance of His mercy,

to perform the mercy promised to our fathers and to remember His holy covenant,

through the tender mercy of our God, with which the Dayspring from on high has visited us;

if somehow I may provoke to jealousy my fellow Jews, and I may save some of them.

And if by grace, it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

And do not fashion yourselves after this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and well pleasing and perfect will of God.

Therefore by works of the law no flesh shall be justified in His sight, for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.

Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.

But to him who does not work but believes on Him that justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,

for the children not yet being born, nor having done anything good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might abide, not of works but of Him who calls,

So then it is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God who shows mercy.

What shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness of faith;

And such were some of you! But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; because no flesh shall be justified by the works of the law.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,

and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,

in order that He might sanctify her, cleansing her by the washing of water by the word,

and have put on the new man who is renewed in full knowledge according to the image of Him who created it,

who having saved us, and having called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time itself,

But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared,

let us approach with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies having been washed with clean water.

Therefore let us come boldly to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

and having fallen away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and hold Him up to contempt.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

who formerly were not a people but now are the people of God, who had not received mercy, but now have received mercy.

which as an antitype, baptism now also saves us--(not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
