"Hear another parable: There was a certain landowner who planted a vineyard and set a hedge around it, dug a winepress in it and built a tower. And he leased it to farmers and went on a journey.


For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came to be through Jesus Christ.


Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said about him, "Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!"


"For the promise is for you and for your children, and for all those afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call."


Much in every way! First of all, that they were entrusted with the oracles of God.


For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again unto fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."


But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For not all those of Israel are of Israel,


Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? So am I.


Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises spoken. He does not say, "And to seeds," as of many, but as of one, "And to your Seed," who is Christ.


that at that time you were apart from Christ, being estranged from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, not having hope and atheists in the world.


Then indeed, even the first covenant had ordinances of divine service and the earthly sanctuary.


concerned only with foods and drinks, various washings, and fleshly ordinances which are imposed until a time of reformation.


and after the second veil, the part of the tabernacle which is called the Holy of Holies,


and above it were cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat; concerning these things we cannot now speak in detail.


Now when these things had been thus prepared, the priests always went into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the services,
