13 Now I do not want you to be ignorant, brothers, that often I planned to come to you (and I was hindered until now), that I might have some fruit among you also, just as among the other Gentiles.

Most assuredly I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.


You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, so that whatever you may ask the Father in My name He may give to you.


And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit unto eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.


And in those days Peter, rising up in the midst of the disciples (altogether the number of names was about a hundred and twenty), said,


Now arriving and gathering the church together, they related all that God had done with them, and that He had opened the door of faith for the Gentiles.


Then all the multitude stopped speaking and listened to Barnabas and Paul telling as many signs and wonders as God had done among the Gentiles through them.


When these things were fulfilled, Paul resolved in his spirit, having gone through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, "After I have been there, I must also see Rome."


And having greeted them, he reported one by one those things which God had done among the Gentiles through his ministry.


where having found brothers, we were urged by them to stay for seven days; and so we came to Rome.


that is, that I may be encouraged together among you through the mutual faith both of you and me.


For I do not desire you to be ignorant, brothers, of this mystery, lest you be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.


Or do you not know, brothers (for I speak to those knowing the law), that the law rules over a man as long as he lives?


Now I beseech you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but you be made complete in the same mind and in the same opinion.


Now I do not want you to be ignorant, brothers, that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea,


Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant.


Brothers, do not be children in your understanding; rather, in malice be children, but in understanding be men.


What is it then, brothers? Whenever you come together, each of you has a song, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.


If I am not an apostle to others, yet indeed I am to you. For you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.


For we do not desire you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning our affliction which happened to us in Asia: that we were burdened beyond measure, beyond our strength, so that we despaired even of life.


Now thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and making known through us the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.


Brothers, I speak in human fashion: A covenant is of a man, yet having been confirmed, no one annuls or adds to it.


Brothers, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.


But if I am to live on in the flesh, this to me will mean fruit from my labor; and what I shall choose I do not know.


Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit which is increasing to your account.


that you should walk worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit and increasing in the full knowledge of God;


which has come to you, just as also in all the world, and is bearing fruit and growing, just as also among you, from the day which you heard and fully knew the grace of God in truth;


Therefore we desired to come to you--I, Paul, time and again--but Satan hindered us.


Now we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, concerning those who have died, lest you be sorrowful as those who have no hope.


For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will continue until one comes out of the midst.


But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation might be fulfilled, and all the Gentiles might hear, and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
