So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were sharing food with joy and simplicity of heart,


who also honored us with many honors, and when we put to sea, they gave us the things that we needed.


And there was great joy in that city.


And how shall they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, of those preaching the gospel of good things!"


so that you may receive her in the Lord in a manner worthy of the saints, and you may stand by her in whatever thing she may need from you; for indeed she has proved to be a helper of many and of myself also.


Now if Timothy comes, see to it that he may be with you without fear; for he does the work of the Lord, as I also do.


For they refreshed my spirit and yours. Therefore give recognition to such men.


For not he who commends himself is approved, but he whom the Lord commends.


Receive us in your hearts. We have wronged no one, we have corrupted no one, we have defrauded no one.


Therefore I sent him more eagerly, in order that when you see him again you may have joy, and I may be less anxious.


Aristarchus my fellow prisoner greets you, with Mark the cousin of Barnabas (about whom you received instructions: if he comes to you, receive him),


And we request of you, brothers, to recognize those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and instruct you,


Let the elders having ruled well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine.


Obey your leaders, and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls, as giving an account, in order that they may do this with joy and not groaning, for this would be unprofitable for you.


On account of this, if I come, I will call to mind his works which he does, slandering us with evil words. And not being content with that, he does not receive the brothers, and hinders those who desire to, casting them out of the church.
