But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block unto Me, because you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men."


Peter answered and said to Him, "Even if all are made to stumble because of You, yet I will never be made to stumble."


Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said about him, "Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!"


For everyone that does evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works be exposed.


And after many years I arrived to bring alms and offerings to my nation,


And do not fashion yourselves after this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and well pleasing and perfect will of God.


Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.


Now I urge you, brothers, to look out for those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them.


and know His will, and approve the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law,


But if I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good.


For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man.


Because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not submit to the law of God, nor indeed can it.


who will also confirm you until the end, that you may be unimpeachable in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.


Be without offense, both toward Jews and toward Greeks, and toward the church of God,


Wherefore, if food causes my brother to stumble, I will by no means eat meat, lest I cause my brother to stumble.


For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience, that we have conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and especially toward you.


For we are not as the rest, corrupting the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.


We give no occasion for offense in anything, lest the ministry be blamed,


I speak not by a command, but I am testing the genuineness of your love by means of the diligence of others.


And I, brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been done away with.


but speaking the truth in love, we may grow up in all things into Him who is the head--Christ;


proving what is well-pleasing to the Lord.


that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and blameless.


Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.


The former proclaim Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my chains;


having been persuaded of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus;


holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.


so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.


But test all things; hold fast that which is good.


Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.


Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are from God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.


"I know your works, and your labor, and your endurance, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you tested those who say that they are apostles and they are not, and you found them to be liars;
