But when the first came, they supposed that they would receive more; and they also received each a denarius.


saying, 'These last men have worked only one hour, and you made them equal to us who have borne the burden and the heat of the day.'


For it was possible for this to be sold for more than three hundred denarii, and to be given to the poor." And they were scolding her.


And the Pharisees and scribes were grumbling, saying, "This man receives sinners and eats with them."


But when they saw it, they all were complaining, saying, "He has gone to be a guest with a sinful man."


And their scribes and the Pharisees complained against His disciples, saying, "Why do You eat and drink with the tax collectors and sinners?"


Therefore the Jews were murmuring about Him, because He said, "I am the bread which came down from heaven."


And Jesus, knowing in Himself that His disciples were murmuring about this, He said to them, "Does this offend you?


And the Jews, seeing the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and spoke against the things being said by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.


forbidding us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved, so as always to fill up the measure of their sins; but the wrath of God has come upon them to the uttermost.


These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaks puffed up words, flattering people to gain advantage.
