Matthew 15:6
12 Mga Krus na Reperensya

But you say, 'Whoever says to his father or mother, "It is a gift to God, whatever profit you might have received from me"--

Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying,

thus nullifying the word of God by your tradition which you have handed down. And many similar things you do."

Therefore do we nullify the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law.

If any believing man or believing woman has widows, let that one relieve them, and do not let the church be burdened, that it may relieve those who are really widows.

But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he has denied the faith and is worse than an infidel.
