5 And looking around at them with anger, being grieved at the hardness of their hearts, He said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored as whole as the other.

Then He said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." And he stretched it out, and it was restored whole like the other.


Then He said to them, "Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?" But they kept silent.


The Lord then answered him and said, "Hypocrites! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it?


And seeing them, He said to them, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And so it was that as they went away, they were cleansed.


And when He had looked around at them all, He said to him, "Stretch out your hand." And he did so, and his hand was restored as whole as the other.


And He said to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam" (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing.


For I do not desire you to be ignorant, brothers, of this mystery, lest you be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.


But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is removed in Christ.


having been darkened in understanding, being estranged from the life of God, because of the ignorance which is in them, because of the hardness of their heart;


"Be angry, and do not sin": do not let the sun set on your anger,


And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.


Therefore I was indignant with that generation, and said, 'They go astray in their heart; and they did not know My ways.'


And with whom was He indignant forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness?


And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him,


And they said to the mountains and crags, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb!
