17 When Jesus heard it, He said to them, "Those who are healthy have no need of a physician, but those who are ill. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance."

I say to you that likewise there shall be more joy in heaven over one sinner repenting than over ninety-nine righteous who need no repentance.


And He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. Because that which is exalted among men is an abomination before God.


for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."


They answered and said to him, "You were completely born in sins, and do you teach us?" And they cast him out.


Then some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these things, and said to Him, "Are we blind also?"
