Mark 16:1
19 Mga Krus na Reperensya

And while He was in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as He was reclining for a meal, a woman came having an alabaster flask of very costly pure nard. And having broken the flask, she began to pour it out over His head.

This woman did what she could; she undertook beforehand to anoint My body for burial.

There were also women looking on from a distance, among whom were both Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James the Less and of Joses, and Salome,

And now evening having come, since it was Preparation Day, which is the day before the Sabbath,

And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses were observing where He was placed.

And very early on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.

And going out, they fled from the tomb, but trembling and amazement held them; and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.

That day was the Preparation; the Sabbath was drawing near.

Then they returned and prepared spices and perfumes. And they rested on the Sabbath, according to the commandment.

And on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared.

Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.

Therefore the Jews, since it was the Preparation Day, that the bodies should not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, and they might be taken away.
