42 Or how can you say to your brother, 'Brother, permit me to remove the speck which is in your eye,' when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck which is in your brother's eye.

And Peter remembered the word of Jesus which He said to him, "Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times." And going out, he wept bitterly.


And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not notice the plank in your own eye?


Or how will you say to your brother, 'Permit me to remove the speck from your eye'; and look, there is a plank in your own eye?


The Lord then answered him and said, "Hypocrites! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it?


But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers."


And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not notice the plank in your own eye?


"For a good tree does not produce rotten fruit, nor does a rotten tree produce good fruit.


he said, "O full of all guile and all craft, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord?


Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.


You have neither part nor portion in this word, for your heart is not right before God.


Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, everyone who judges, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself, for you who judge are practicing the same things.


And all things are of God, who reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and who gave to us the ministry of this reconciliation,


Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, having been consecrated and useful to the Master, having been prepared for every good work.


For he who lacks these things is blind, being shortsighted, having forgotten the cleansing of his past sins.
