Luke 22:42
21 Mga Krus na Reperensya

At that time Jesus answered and said, "I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them to babes.

Yes, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.

But Jesus answered and said, "You do not know what you ask. Are you able to drink the cup which I am about to drink, or to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?" They said to Him, "We are able."

He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, "O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will."

Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, "O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, let Your will be done."

And leaving them, He went away again, and prayed a third time, saying the same words.

Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

And He said, "Abba, Father, all things are possible to You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will."

Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." And dividing His garments, they cast lots.

Then Jesus said to Peter, "Put your sword into the sheath. Shall I not drink the cup which My Father has given Me?"

Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.

I can of My own self do nothing. Even as I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.

For I have come down from heaven, not that I might do My will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

And when he remained unpersuaded, we were silent and said, "Let the will of the Lord be done."
