16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaks puffed up words, flattering people to gain advantage.

And the Pharisees and scribes were grumbling, saying, "This man receives sinners and eats with them."


But when they saw it, they all were complaining, saying, "He has gone to be a guest with a sinful man."


And their scribes and the Pharisees complained against His disciples, saying, "Why do You eat and drink with the tax collectors and sinners?"


Therefore the Jews were murmuring about Him, because He said, "I am the bread which came down from heaven."


And Jesus, knowing in Himself that His disciples were murmuring about this, He said to them, "Does this offend you?


nor murmer, just as also some of them murmered, and were destroyed by the destroyer.


I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall by no means fulfill the lust of the flesh.


And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.


Do all things without grumbling and disputing,


not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God,


constant wranglings of men of corrupt minds and having been deprived of the truth, supposing that godliness is a means of profit. Withdraw from such people.


For there will be a time when they will not put up with sound doctrine, but according to their own lusts, they will heap up for themselves teachers, tickling their ears,


as obedient children, not fashioning yourselves after the former lusts, as you did in your ignorance;


Beloved, I implore you as sojourners and pilgrims, to abstain from the lusts of the flesh which war against the soul;


that he no longer should live the remaining time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.


and especially those who walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are bold, self-willed, illustrious persons, they do not tremble at blaspheming,


For when they speak haughty words of emptiness, they entice through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, those who are escaping from those who are living in error,


knowing this first: that mockers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts,


to execute judgment against all, and to convict all the ungodly among them about all their ungodly deeds which they have committed impiously, and about all the harsh words which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him."
