7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, "It is the Lord!" Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it), and he threw himself into the sea.

Now there was reclining on Jesus' bosom one of His disciples, the one whom Jesus loved.


Therefore Jesus, seeing His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, "Woman, behold your son!"


Therefore she ran and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and said to them, "They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him."


And having said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord.


And Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!"


Then Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also had reclined on His chest at the supper, and said, "Lord, who is the one who betrays You?"


This is the disciple who testifies of these things, and wrote these things; and we know that his testimony is true.


But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from the land, but about two hundred cubits), dragging the net with fish.


The word which God sent to the sons of Israel, preaching the good news of peace through Jesus Christ--He being Lord of all--


"Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."


The first man was from earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.


For the love of Christ compels us, having concluded this: that if One died for all, then all died;


My brothers, do not hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with partiality.
