"Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.

Brothers, do not be children in your understanding; rather, in malice be children, but in understanding be men.

So then let us observe the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

For I am afraid, lest perhaps when I come, I will not find you as I desire, and that I will be found by you as you do not desire; lest perhaps there be contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, disputes, slanders, gossipings, pride, disorders;

idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, factions,

"Be angry, and do not sin": do not let the sun set on your anger,

Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them.

But now you yourselves are to put off all these: wrath, anger, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.

For a bishop must be unimpeachable, as God's steward, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money,

Older women likewise are to be reverent in demeanor, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teaching what is good,

So then, my beloved brothers, let every man be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger;

But if you have bitter jealousy and strife in your heart, do not boast and lie against the truth.

Therefore having put away all malice, all guile, hypocrisy, envy, and all slanders,

not as Cain who was of the evil one and slew his brother. And for what reason did he slay him? Because his works were evil and the works of his brother were righteous.

Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

Then I heard a loud voice in heaven saying, "Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Christ, because the accuser of our brothers, the one who accused them before our God day and night, has been thrown out of heaven.
