In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.


And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.


No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, He who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.


Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you for so long a time, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He that has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'?


If I had not done the works among them which no one else has done, they would have no sin; but now they have both seen and they have hated both Me and My Father.


For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.


Because whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brothers.


among whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, so that the illumination of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine on them.


Because it is God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who shined in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.


who, existing in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,


He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,


Now to the King of the Ages, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.


who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or is able to see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.


who being the effulgence of His glory and the exact expression of His substance, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
