17 And Ananias departed and entered the house; and putting his hands on him, he said, "Brother Saul, the Lord has sent me, the One who appeared to you in the way which you were coming, so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit."

and was imploring Him many times, saying, "My little daughter is near death, please come and lay Your hands on her, so that she may be healed, and live."


and He could do no miracle there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them.


And it came to pass, that when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, that the baby leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.


Now his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Spirit, and he prophesied, saying,


"And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Highest; for you will go before the face of the Lord to prepare His ways,


But when this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with prostitutes, you slaughtered the fatted calf for him.'


But it was necessary to be merry and to rejoice, because your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.' "


For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.


The word which God sent to the sons of Israel, preaching the good news of peace through Jesus Christ--He being Lord of all--


Then, fasting and praying, and laying their hands on them, they sent them away.


And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.


And when Paul laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.


And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak in different languages, as the Spirit gave them utterance.


And hearing this, they were glorifying the Lord, saying to him, "You see, brother, how many myriads of Jews there are having believed, and they are all zealous for the law;


"So I said, 'Who are You, Lord?' And He said, 'I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.


And when they had prayed, the place where they were gathered was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.


whom they set before the apostles; and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.


Then they laid hands upon them, and they received the Holy Spirit.


And immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he saw again; and arising, he was baptized,


Therefore receive one another, just as also Christ received you, to the glory of God.


The first man was from earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.


And last of all, as of one born out of due time, He appeared to me also.


Am I not an apostle? Am I not free? Have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? Are you not my work in the Lord?


Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you through prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.


Lay hands on no one hastily, nor share in the sins of others; keep yourself pure.


For which cause I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.


no longer as a slave but more than a slave--a beloved brother, especially to me but how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord.


of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.


and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation--just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote to you,
