They said to Him, "Caesar's." And He said to them, "Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's."


And He sent Peter and John, saying, "Go and prepare the Passover for us, so that we may eat it."


Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment."


Now when they observed the boldness of Peter and John, and understood that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.


saying, "Did we not with a command, command you not to teach in this name? And behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and you want to bring on us the blood of this Man!"


But Peter and the apostles answered, and said: "We must obey God rather than men.


I speak as to wise men; judge for yourselves what I say.


but we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor falsifying the word of God, but by the disclosure of the truth, commending ourselves to every man's conscience before God.


Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.


For this is good and acceptable before God our Savior,


By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw a beautiful child; and they did not fear the edict of the king.


and so did you not differentiate among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
