20 but to those first in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and to the Gentiles, proclaiming that they must repent and turn to God, and do works worthy of repentance.

Therefore produce fruits worthy of repentance,


From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."


But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy and not sacrifice.' For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance."


And when they went out, they were preaching that people should repent.


And he will turn many of the sons of Israel to the Lord their God.


Not at all, I tell you; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.


Not at all, I tell you; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish."


Just so, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."


I say to you that likewise there shall be more joy in heaven over one sinner repenting than over ninety-nine righteous who need no repentance.


And hearing these things, they remained silent, and they glorified God, saying, "Then God has also granted even to the Gentiles repentance unto life."


Therefore I judge that we must not cause trouble for those who are turning to God from among the Gentiles;


So then these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now He commands all men everywhere to repent,


Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, and forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?


But whenever one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.


For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, without regret; but worldly sorrow produces death.


This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,


For they themselves report about us what kind of entrance we had to you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God,


They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their ulcers, and they did not repent of their works.


And I gave her time so that she might repent, and she does not wish to repent of her fornication.


Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent and do the first works; but if not, I am coming to you quickly and I will remove your lampstand out of its place, unless you repent.


Remember therefore how you have received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you like a thief, and by no means shall you know what hour I will come upon you.
