10 because you being able to know that it has not been more than twelve days since I went up to worship in Jerusalem.

Now whenever they bring you to the synagogues and rulers and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say.


But He said to him, "Man, who appointed Me a judge or an arbitrator over you?"


saying: "A certain judge was in a certain city, who did not fear God nor have regard for men.


And motioning to them with his hand to be silent, he related to them how the Lord had led him out of the prison. And he said, "Tell these things to James and to the brothers." And going out, he went to another place.


And Paul, arising and motioning with his hand, said, "Men, Israelites, and you who fear God, listen:


But if it is a question about a word and names and your own law, see to it yourselves; for I do not wish to be a judge of these things."


And from the crowd they brought forward Alexander, the Jews putting him forward. And Alexander motioned with his hand, and desired to make a defense to the people.


And permitting him, Paul stood on the stairs and motioned with his hand to the people. And when there was a great silence, he addressed them in the Hebrew language, saying,


and place mounts at their disposal, in order that they may put Paul on them, and bring him safely to Felix the governor."


Then Agrippa said to Paul, "It is permitted for you to speak in behalf of yourself." So Paul, having extended his hand, spoke in his own defense:


But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be prepared with a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;
