11 And the crowds, seeing what Paul did, raised their voice, saying in the Lycaonian language, "The gods have been made like men and have come down to us!"

they became aware of it and fled to the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra and Derbe, and to the surrounding region.


And they were expecting him to be about to swell up or suddenly fall down dead. But after they had waited for a long time and observed nothing unusual happening to him, they changed their minds and said that he was a god.


to whom they gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, "This man is the great power of God."
