And when they came to Jesus, they begged Him earnestly, saying he was worthy for whom He should grant this,


Jesus said to him, "Leave the dead to bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God."


And arriving in Salamis, they proclaimed the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews. They also had John as their assistant.


And on the Sabbath day we went outside the city beside a river, where prayer was customarily made; and having sat down we spoke to the women who assembled together there.


Now on the first day of the week, the disciples being assembled to break bread, Paul was discussing with them, being about to leave on the next day, and extended his message until midnight.


Now when we came to Rome, the centurion handed over the prisoners to the captain of the guard; but Paul was allowed to stay by himself with the soldier guarding him.


And how shall they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, of those preaching the gospel of good things!"


rejoicing in hope, enduring in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;


Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.


of which I became a minister according to the stewardship of God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God,


praying at the same time also for us, that God would open a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, because of which I am also in chains,


And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, in that you received the word in much tribulation, with joy of the Holy Spirit,


Now we exhort you, brothers, admonish the disorderly, encourage the discouraged, be supportive of the weak, be patient toward all.


Until I come, give attention to public reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.


Those who are sinning rebuke before all, that the rest also may have fear.


Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, having been consecrated and useful to the Master, having been prepared for every good work.


in meekness instructing those that oppose, if God perhaps may give them repentance, to a full knowledge of the truth,


You however have carefully followed my doctrine, lifestyle, purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance,


This testimony is true; for which cause rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith,


Speak these things, exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.


And I appeal to you, brothers, bear with the word of exhortation, for briefly I wrote to you.


As many as I love, I rebuke and discipline. Be zealous therefore, and repent.
