7 Now if the ministry of death, having been engraved in letters on stones, came to be with glory, so that the sons of Israel could not look intently into the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, the glory which was passing away,

For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions aroused through the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death.


But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is partial shall pass away.


being made known that you are the letter of Christ, which was ministered by us, having been written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not in tablets of stone but in tablets of flesh, namely in hearts.


who also has made us efficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit makes alive.


how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious?


For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all the things which are written in the book of the law, to do them."


Therefore, is the law against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if a law had been given which was able to give life, truly righteousness would have been by the law.


For you have not come to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and to a whirlwind,


For He has been counted worthy of more honor than Moses, inasmuch as He who built the house has more honor than the house.
