12 Therefore, having such hope, we use great boldness of speech--

Then the Jews encircled Him and said to Him, "How long will You hold us in suspense? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly."


"These things I have spoken to you in figures of speech; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figures of speech, but I will tell you plainly about the Father.


His disciples said to Him, "See, now You are speaking plainly, and using no figure of speech!


Therefore they spent a considerable time there, speaking boldly in the Lord, who was bearing witness to the word of His grace, giving signs and wonders to take place by their hands.


Now when they observed the boldness of Peter and John, and understood that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.


But Barnabas, taking hold of him, brought him to the apostles, and related to them how he had seen the Lord on the way, and that He had spoken to him, and how in Damascus he spoke openly in the name of Jesus.


and speaking openly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and he was speaking and was disputing with the Greek speaking Jews, but they were attempting to kill him.


but in the church I would rather speak five words with my understanding, in order that I may instruct others, rather than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.


Now I, Paul, myself appeal to you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, I who face to face am lowly among you, but when I am away am bold toward you.


For if that which passes away was glorious, then that which remains is much more glorious.


And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, "I believed, and therefore I spoke," we also believe, therefore we also speak,


Great is my confidence toward you, great is my boasting concerning you. I have been filled with comfort. I am exceedingly joyful in all our tribulation.


and most of the brothers in the Lord, having been persuaded by my chains, are much more bold to speak the word fearlessly.


according to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I will be ashamed, but with utmost boldness, as always, now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death.


that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.


But suffering before and being spitefully treated at Philippi, just as you know, we were bold in our God to speak to you the gospel of God with much conflict.


For those who have served well as deacons obtain a standing for themselves and much boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.


Therefore, having much boldness in Christ to command you what is fitting,
