1 Peter 2:11
35 Mga Krus na Reperensya

"But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and worries of life, and that Day come upon you unexpectedly.

but that we write to them to abstain from things polluted by idols, and from sexual immorality, from things strangled, and from blood.

that you abstain from meat offered to idols, and from blood, and from anything strangled, and from fornication; from which keeping yourselves back, you will do well. Farewell.

Therefore, brothers, I exhort you through the compassions of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, well pleasing to God, which is your intelligent service.

But I see a different law in my members, waging war against the law of my mind, and capturing me by the law of sin which is in my members.

For if you live according to the flesh you shall die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the practices of the body, you will live.

Now then, we serve as ambassadors for Christ, as though God were appealing through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.

And working together with Him, we also urge that you not receive the grace of God in vain.

Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.

So then, you are no longer strangers and aliens, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,

Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, urge you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,

Flee youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

These all died according to faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off and welcoming them, and confessing that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

But we are persuaded concerning you, beloved, of better things and those pertaining to salvation, even though we speak in this manner.

From where come wars and disputes among you? Is it not from here, from your lusts, which war in your members?

Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the elect sojourners of the Dispersion of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear;

Beloved, do not be surprised by the fiery trial among you, taking place to test you, as though some strange thing was happening to you;

that he no longer should live the remaining time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.

This already, beloved, is the second letter I write to you, in both of which I stir up your pure mind by a reminder,
