11 Now all these things happened to those people as examples, and they were written for our instruction, to whom the ends of the ages have come.

The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels.


Therefore just as the tares are gathered and burned with fire, thus it will be at the end of this age.


And do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for us to be roused out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we believed.


The night is advanced, the day is at hand. Therefore let us put off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.


For as many things as were previously written, were written for our own instruction, that through the patience and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we may have hope.


Now it was not written for his sake alone that it was accounted to him,


Now these things became examples for us, in order that we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.


But this I say, brothers, the time has been shortened; so that from now on even those having wives should be as though they had none,


Or does He say this altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, for it is written, that he that plows should plow in hope, and he that threshes, in hope should partake of his hope.


which things are symbolic. For these are two covenants: one in fact from Mount Sinai, bearing children into slavery, which is Hagar--


Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.


not forsaking the assembling of ourselves, just as is the custom for some, but exhorting one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

Little children, it is the last hour; and just as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour.
