For just as the lightning which flashes out of the one part under heaven shines to the other part under heaven, so also the Son of Man will be in His day.


In the same way it shall be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.


Who are you to judge another's servant? To his own master he stands or he falls. And he shall be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.


(14:24) Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began,


For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly awaits the unveiling of the sons of God.


each one's work shall be made manifest; for the Day shall reveal it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall test each one's work, as to what sort it is.


deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, in order that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.


For we do not write other things to you except what you read or also understand. And I hope that you will understand, even until the end


just as also you have understood us in part, that we are your boasting, as indeed you also are ours, in the day of the Lord Jesus.


Now He who establishes us together with you in Christ and who has anointed us is God,


that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and blameless.


that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ,


having been persuaded of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus;


in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach before Him--


having been rooted and built up in Him and being established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.


so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.


For you yourselves know accurately that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.


not to be quickly shaken from your mind, nor be disturbed, neither by spirit nor by word nor by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ has come.


But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and will guard you from the evil one.


For which cause I also suffer these things; but I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I have been persuaded that He is able to guard that which I have committed to Him until that Day.


May the Lord grant to him to find mercy from the Lord in that Day--and you very well know how many ways he served in Ephesus.


But may the God of all grace, the One having called you into His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, may He Himself make you complete--He will establish, strengthen, and firmly ground you.


But the day of the Lord shall come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a rushing noise, and the elements, burning with heat, shall be dissolved, both the earth and the works that are in it shall be burned up.


Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot or blemish;
