I will say to God, Do not condemn me; let me know why you contend against me.


although you know that I am not guilty, and there is no one to deliver out of your hand?


See, he will kill me; I have no hope; but I will defend my ways to his face.


I have indeed prepared my case; I know that I shall be vindicated.


For your iniquity teaches your mouth, and you choose the tongue of the crafty.


Is not your wickedness great? There is no end to your iniquities.


There an upright person could reason with him, and I should be acquitted forever by my judge.


“Surely, you have spoken in my hearing, and I have heard the sound of your words.


You say, ‘I am clean, without transgression; I am pure, and there is no iniquity in me.


Will you even put me in the wrong? Will you condemn me that you may be justified?


Turn, I pray, let no wrong be done. Turn now, my vindication is at stake.
