But a stupid person will get understanding, when a wild ass is born human.


“Should a multitude of words go unanswered, and should one full of talk be vindicated?


and that he would tell you the secrets of wisdom! For wisdom is many-sided. Know then that God exacts of you less than your guilt deserves.


“Should the wise answer with windy knowledge, and fill themselves with the east wind?


But you, come back now, all of you, and I shall not find a sensible person among you.


Since you have closed their minds to understanding, therefore you will not let them triumph.


I hear censure that insults me, and a spirit beyond my understanding answers me.


How you have counseled one who has no wisdom, and given much good advice!


The rich is wise in self-esteem, but an intelligent poor person sees through the pose.


Ah, you who are wise in your own eyes, and shrewd in your own sight!


We are fools for the sake of Christ, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are held in honor, but we in disrepute.


I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is no one among you wise enough to decide between one believer and another,
