When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said to him, “I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be blameless.


Then it goes and brings along seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and live there; and the last state of that person is worse than the first. So will it be also with this evil generation.”


So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.


However that may be, let each of you lead the life that the Lord has assigned, to which God called you. This is my rule in all the churches.


Let each of you remain in the condition in which you were called.


Then the people said to Saul, “Shall Jonathan die, who has accomplished this great victory in Israel? Far from it! As the Lord lives, not one hair of his head shall fall to the ground; for he has worked with God today.” So the people ransomed Jonathan, and he did not die.
